About
The Name
Ancient Aramaic — one of the oldest spoken languages on earth. It means: I feel life energy in my heart. A description of a state that is accessible, learnable, and repeatable — and the most precise language we have found for what we are building toward.
The Story
In 1989, Anna Bjurstam held her first aerobics class. She had no idea she was embarking on a lifelong journey.
Three decades later: co-founder of Raison d'Être, architect of Six Senses Wellness, co-founder of two of the first longevity clinics in Europe. In 2019, IHG acquired Six Senses at a significant multiple. The transformation Anna led was a significant part of why. Anna stayed on as Wellness Pioneer until 2026.
Alongside the commercial work: five Vipassana retreats, a shamanic initiation, a diploma in biogeometry, and certification in Four Winds energy medicine. Anna invests personally in the founders building the next chapter of this field — among them AgebackCo, Sanctum, Myndstream, and Pulse.
Wahayla is what comes next. Built on the conviction that the most interesting chapter of this industry has not yet been written — and that writing it requires holding together what the field has traditionally kept apart: wellness, longevity science, and the dimension of human experience that underlies both.
